PYTEX provides transparent, fair, and distance-based pricing for professional medical courier services.
Our pricing model is designed for healthcare providers who need reliable, compliant, and time-critical deliveries—without hidden fees.

1. Base Pricing Structure

Every PYTEX delivery is calculated using a simple and consistent formula:

Total Price = Base Pickup Fee + (Distance × Per-Mile Rate) + Applicable Surcharges

This approach ensures clarity, predictability, and fairness for every client.

2. Standard Medical Courier Rates

Pricing Component

Base Pickup Fee: $25.00

Per-Mile Rate: $1.75 / mile

Wait Time: First 10 minutes free, then $1.00 / minute

These rates apply to routine medical deliveries such as lab specimens, pharmacy items, and medical documents.

3. Priority & Time-Sensitive Services

Some deliveries require immediate action or off-hour service. The following surcharges may apply:

STAT / Urgent Delivery: +$25.00

After-Hours (7:00 PM – 8:00 AM): +$20.00

Weekend Delivery: +$25.00

Public Holidays: Quoted upon request

4. Example Pricing Calculation

Scenario:

• Distance: 0.9 miles

• Service: Standard Medical Courier

Calculation:

• Base fee: $25.00

• Distance charge: 0.9 × $1.75 = $1.58

Total Delivery Price: $26.58 → Rounded to $27.00

5. How Pricing Is Applied in Practice

• Distance is calculated automatically using GPS mapping.

• The final price is confirmed before dispatch.

• Official invoices are issued through QuickBooks Online.

• Payments can be made via invoice, Stripe, or approved payment methods.

There are no hidden charges. Any applicable surcharge is clearly communicated in advance.

6. HIPAA Compliance & Confidentiality

PYTEX operates under strict confidentiality standards:

• ❌ No patient names or medical details on invoices

• ✅ Secure chain-of-custody procedures

• ✅ Proof of Delivery (POD) available upon request

7. Monthly Contract Options

For clients with regular delivery needs, PYTEX offers monthly courier plans with predictable pricing and priority scheduling.
